Montreal Classical Choral Ensemble

Anima Musica is a bilingual amateur choir of dedicated persons from different backgrounds who share the joy of singing together. Under the experienced direction of Francis Guérard, the choir works to improve its musical skills and strives towards a standard of excellence. Aima Musica performs regularly in concert to pass on its passion to the public.

Under the direction of Francis Guérard, Anima Musica Choir presents Traditions.
A celebration of Canada’s musical heritage, from Indigenous songs to Québecois classics and Irish folk melodies. Featuring traditional instruments, this program evokes music once sung by families and friends, around campfires, in kitchens, and aboard ships crossing the seas to Canada.

Come sing with us!

We're presently seeking new voices to complete our sections, especially soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
Music sight reading is an asset, and choral experience is required.
Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at 6225 rue Godfrey, Montreal, (corner of Kensington street).
